Erie’s Mother figures are raising 33,000 children and impact at least 65,000 households across the county. With that kind of responsibility, if Mom goes down, everyone goes down. But when she thrives, the entire family and everyone and everything around her blossoms.

In 2016, we launched Erie City Moms to provide all Mother figures with opportunities for respite and to connect with inclusive, loving community that supports her well-being and success. Each year, we host dozens of Moms groups and facilitate hundreds of transformational connections from family outings to intensive mentoring to interventions.

What started out as a grassroots effort is now an innovative nonprofit speaking life into more than 750 diverse Mother figures and 2,250 children each year.

All of this is made possible thanks to the work of hundreds of volunteers and partners.
